When and where we meet

We meet every Thursday evening, starting promptly at 7.30 pm, in Room 10 at St Werburgh's Community Centre, Horley Road, St Werburgh's, BRISTOL, BS2 9TJ.

The Centre is fully accessible, and there is disabled parking immediately outside. Otherwise use on-street parking or the office spaces opposite the centre, which are available in the evenings.

The floor of our room is uncarpeted wood, so please bring your own rug or mat if you wish to sit on the floor, as well as your own sitting 'equipment'. There are plenty of chairs available.

Tea will be served as usual!

See Google Maps link below for our venue location..........

Most meetings consist of two 30 minute periods of silent meditation, broken up by ten minutes or so of walking meditation (Kin Hin). They usually begin and end with a short spoken and chanted liturgy. At the end we have a period of discussion and sharing – and then come the tea and biscuits, usually accompanied by more discussion.

Bring your own cushion or meditation stool if you wish; we also provide cushions.

If you are interested in coming to one of our meetings it’s a good idea to ring one of our leaders beforehand, to discuss your own experience (if any) of meditation.

Other events

We usually run 3-4 study or meditation weekend events each year. For details of future events visit our events page.

We also organise a spring and an autumn social walk each year, details of which are also on our events page.

And we even throw the occasional party!
